I’m also going to go ahead and put forth my two cents, regarding best tech for 2024. I’m going to to keep it a bit broad, for the most part, however, I think this piece of hardware by far has really upped the ante for 2024 and beyond …and that ladies and gentleman, is The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and the Snapdragon Elite processing chips. Now, I know we all were impressed with the gen 2 …and the gen 1…etc etc, however, the peaked tuned performance of these chipsets, most notably in my opinion, with the S24 ultra, and the Red Magic 9 pro (plenty of honorable props to One Plus for their 12 and 12R as well, and the Newest Huawei Mate XT Tri Fold) we have seen a phenomenal year for smartphones- Gamers and Average consumers alike! The benchmarks that are still being pushed well past their test numbers, are ushering in the next generation of portable, Tele- computers with unmatched performance and unrivaled customizability across brands. Snapdragon, and Qualcomm in general, have continuously set the standard for cell phone chip technology and multi-tasking capabilities, but personally, I feel as if this current gen, and even more so, next year’s flagship releases, will make even your old S23 ULTRA feel like the old Nokia your Mom and Dad gave you in the early 2000s. The days of .50cent text messages, and waiting until after 9PM to talk to your fellow PlayStation enthusiasts is long gone, and I can’t believe how far technology has come in the cell phone market, in such short time. As China begins to diversify it’s own home grown chip manufacturers, and the market continues to become increasingly competitive with AI, I feel that Qualcomm will continue to be a leader in performance and compatibility across all platforms, and judging by the numbers already leaked for next year’s early releases, I don’t think they will be losing their title, at least for the time being. Qualcomm has brought a new level of mobile phone and gaming platform to the everyday consumer, and this has allowed phone brands like Samsung, Red Magic and Xiaomi to expand the capabilities of their devices ten fold, this year alone. Whether it’s ridiculous (the good kind of ridic) AI features and has allowed insane leaps in camera functionality (like Samsungs zoom capabilities, or powerful photo & video editing editing) by providing the needed processing capabilities that AI intensive applications require, all while improving battery drain and increasing the overall lifespan of our devices. Snapdragon processors are really tearing the roof off the tech industry at every turn, and each new chip they release, is somehow markedly better than it’s predecessors. I don’t know about you all, but Hey uppers, I put my vote for this year’s best tech, squarely in Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Corner. 😎😜
