The CEO of embattled short video app TIKTOK was yesterday grilled by a panel of US legislators regarding the security concerns surrounding the app. There have been a lot of mixed reactions from the public regarding the hearing, with many coming to the app’s defense.

I think that in the end it will be banned in the US just like what happened with Huawei

i’m not a tiktok user, and i’m italian so i don’t really care actually… but americans are chinaphobic to the bone, it’s not just trump, so… we’ll see. i don’t think they’ll repeat the same thing they did with huawei, it was too bad of a move
