Flux Keyboard - another transparent keyboard. Do you think its a game changer?

Came across this cool keyboard on Kickstarter. When I first saw the video, the pledge amount was 1 million, i was already impressed by it, now it is 3.3 million.

People seem to looking forward to reviewers reviewing it once it starts fulfilled shipment. So far my thought is it is an reinvention in designs for sure.

EvilZelda it looks super interesting but I have lots of questions like durability and speed of typing, etc. I use a mechanical keyboard now and I’m a fairly fast typist so I’d be curious about the input lag.

EvilZelda the design is stunning and I’m curious about the feedback something like this could give. Also I think this could be better suited to replace a num pad while maintaining a classic keyboard alongside.

Yeah, I discovered this before it launched on Kickstarter and fell in love with it. A hybrid: display + tactility. Wish I could get one. It’ll be interesting how it develops over the years. I would like to see this type of technology be implemented with iPads/tablets. Just think of how iPads can be used standalone as devices, second displays for computers, and input devices (Apple Sidecar). Just think if you could add modular tactile keys to use it like a smart keyboard next…
