The keyboard is pretty sturdy and sits well and flush on the desk. Awesome RBG functions with a lot of different presets that allow for a great overall viewing experience while typing. Cord is plenty long, no number pad takes some getting used to, but it’s OK once you’re comfortable. As far as the mechanics, the Red switches are decent entry-level switches. They are semi-snappy and have a solid responsive feel. They don’t clatter, which is nice, but they do have a solid bottom strike when using them, and the rebound of the keys is relatively smooth. I would not say this is top-tier quality, but at this price point, I am expecting nothing near that. This keyboard will get the job done for the intermediate gamer who wants something very responsive at a solid price point. Again, if you want to go BIG, this is not the keyboard for you, but realize that you’ll spend 2-4x the price of this keyboard to get that type of keyboard. If you’re on a budget, I highly recommend this model, as it fits the bill for those looking to keep things simple.
