This product follows Lenovo’s Mechanical Energy Harvesting concept, unveiled at CES 2024, which explored the potential of solar and hand-crank power. While that concept was a prototype with no immediate plans for commercial release, this self-charging keyboard takes the next step toward sustainable, practical tech.

Ivyisme I would never have imagined a solar charger on a keyboard, it’s not a bad idea, I don’t think they would launch it on the market

Ivyisme AWESOME! I don’t like Bluetooth device because of the constant need to charge them, but a self-Charging device is something I would definitely consider getting.

Menguelez The Logitech K750 is a wireless solar-powered keyboard, so this concept has already been realized. I’m not sure Lenovo will put more effort into making this product line available.

Me preocupa el tema de los materiales, depende si se expone mucho al sol, no todos los materiales son capaces de dudar tanto tiempo bajo el sol, aún que interesante, es una idea que es mejor considerar, aún que el diseño está bueno 🙂‍↔️

I Quite like these changes on the keyboard tbh.
