Je l’ai déjà utilisé mais je pense que je ne vais plus l’utiliser à l’avenir 😅 si mon téléphone prend ça en charge tant mieux mais je préfère toujours une bonne vieille charge filaire qui est bien plus rapide, surtout maintenant avec les progrès qui ont été fait 👍

P4NDA0NE Cette! 100%. Je n’ai littéralement commencé à l’utiliser que lorsque j’ai trouvé ce chargeur multi-charge, et je ne l’ai obtenu que parce que je l’ai trouvé à environ 75% de réduction lol. Je dirai que ma femme utilise un chargeur MagSafe parce que c’est juste plus facile pour elle quand elle met son téléphone sur le chargeur la nuit, mais à part ça, je préfère la recharge filaire. C’est tout aussi pratique et beaucoup plus rapide aussi!

I guess the concept of it is absolutely great, wireless feels like a long term trend. If something is able to become wireless, then there will always be the wireless product, such as mouse and keyboards.

But it’s wireless, so speed and capability against signal jamming is physically incompatible with wired products.

Heyo for mit it is just this nice to have feature. I have charged my ZTE Axon 10 Pro several times on my wireless charging pod. But it isnt really a benefit. Maybe if I would have my phone laid next to my bed and the charger is integrated into the bedside shelf it would be okay to use it, but for the reason you need to put it in nearly the exact position to let it be charged and the charging isn’t quite es effective as a wired option it wouldn’t replace my Typ-C cable. The saddest point is that the charger needs much more power than it puts into the battery there is a lose in every modulating (electric energy to magnetic field, magnetic field back to electric energy)

Matthias Yeah that’s a good point about being integrated into the furniture. Maybe being integrated into a bedside lamp or something could eliminate the need for an extra plug? And yes wireless chargers are finicky as well.

The wireless charger only makes sense for a place where you put it to and leave it for a period of time. So maybe next to where you put your keys would also be a place, if you do t want to use your phone while you’re at home.

I also like the ideo of apples magsafe. It is nice that the charger is connected to the phone by a magnet so you could use it while it charges, but on the other hand you still have a cable and need to put it somewhere while you are not using it. Maybe you could plug it into a metal plate.

I am very glad that the USB type C has been invented and will be forced to be used for mobiles by the European Union, so we will get rid of the crappy micro USB connector. I really dislike devices which still use micro USB in these days.

That’s a good point about being able to charge while using your phone at home lol. I think the most convenient answer will be when you don’t actually have to plug anything in to charge. My ultimate vision is to one day have wireless chargers built into the outlets and all you have to do is get within range of the plug and it will start charging your phone. And with these chargers all throughout the house, you’ll literally always be charged up when you’re at home.

Much like how mesh networks cover your entire home in WiFi, these charges would cover the entire house in charging energy lol.

This still isn’t a perfect solution though because then you have to worry about the long term health of the battery to be constantly charged like that and also the electromagnet waves coursing through your body all the time lol so maybe one day we’ll figure out a better idea.

And yes! I love MagSafe. It was very smart of Apple to bring that back and I’m also VERY glad that hopefully they will be forced to start using USB-C on their phones instead of the stupid lightning connector. It should have died years ago with the headphone jack lol.

I totally agree with you in getting apple to ditch the lightning plug.

Something I would hope to come someday is that the charging plugs are capable to handle any fast charging method. For example the Realme x2 wich is equipped with the Snapdragon 730. The processor itself is capable of qualcomms QC4+, but the device won’t been quick charged by any QC4 or qc3 charger, only the realme VOOC Charger could get the devices charged rapidly.

So I dream of a world where every charger could handle every quick charging method it’s output would be capable of and every smartphone would be able to be charged with different quick charge protocols. Huawei did a great job at this, at least with there own quick charging methods. So a device could be charged with they have 4 different charge indicators for normal changing, fast charging, super charge and 40W Super Charge. You could see which charging mode is used while looking at the charging symbol in the battery symbol at the top.

And I don’t want to start complaining about wireles charging protocols, because there are also different types for different devices and you couldn’t found any information wich device or charger uses wich protocol.

Matthias Yeah that’s true. I think that’s a great idea to have outlets that can support each charging standard natively. Unfortunately that will only happen when governments force companies to standardize their charging protocols which will never happen lol.
