Tingy Makes total sense. My best friend is the same way. Although he did have the iPhone 13 Mini for a few months and claimed he loved it…but traded it in for an S22 Ultra so I don’t know what to believe lol.

I thought that 6″ was too big, but when you adapt, later it seems normal

Menguelez Yeah that makes sense I think. My OnePlus 10 Pro is still big to me, but it doesn’t always feel like it because it’s fairly easy to hold in one hand.

Interesting topic. Personally I dislike anything that is too big for a jeans pocket.

Right now I’m sporting a Pocophone F1, that has a 6.18″ screen, it’s big enough for me, but personally the chin makes a tad too long.

dagothe9 That’s also a good point. Display size is one thing but you also have to account for the bezels and stuff.

Heyo I like it big, but my wife would like to have a smaller phone. A smaller phone with good specs us really hard to find. I love the Sony Xperia Z compact models because the had the same specs as the larger models expect the screen and Battery. That had been an awesome concept. I had been sad as they have dropped them.

I’m definitely on the bigger side with my current and previous smartphones, but I feel like we have not gone so far from the classic 16:9 5.5″ screens, because I now have a 20:9 6.7″ and if you’re watching anything that it’s not in cinematic 21:9, well, the screen estate used is practically identical

di_lorenzo Interesting point as well the phones may not have gotten physically larger and the aspect ratio can have a big impact on usability.

I LOVE MY PIXEL 4A!!!
I previously used a Moto X4 for almost 5 years. That was my benchmark for ease-of-use. Whenever I checked out a new phone, I would fire up the Size Comparison page on PhoneArena and see how handy it would be compared to my Moto X4. So you can image my delight when Google launched the delightfully specced and sized Pixel 4a (and also the Pixel 5). Yes, watching youtube videos or playing games aren’t great on the tiny 83.2sq.cm screen, but we have a tab and a Chromecast for that and I don’t game much, so that’s not much of an issue for me. The Pixel 4a’s screen size is perfect for everything else, including typing. I actually have long fingers, but I prefer using a phone that lets my thumb reach all four corners of the screen single-handedly.

mervin_jj This is everything about small phones lol. I don’t play games much either and the ease of use is all about why I went with the 13 Mini. It’s just so compact and I can use it with one hand and it fits anywhere without feeling too bulky.

Heyo I’ve seen only one iPhone 13 Mini in my circles. It’s a pity, really, that Apple has discontinued the Mini series. I quite liked the look and feel of it. I guess flip phones are gonna be the new Mini phones. Hope they become affordable to the masses soon with better durability.

mervin_jj Oh yeah I completely agree. It’s a shame but at least for now it’s not too bad cuz the new iPhones are basically the exact same as last years so it’s not really worth the upgrade lol.

I love large screen. my friend own a Cubot Max 3, comes with 6.95 inches display, still can holding comfortably with one hand : 😀
