Helen Heyup is on the right track with the store and the newsroom. Newsroom I would say keep mostly related to the products that are offered or tested with some “what to expect” in future news. The store seems fine so far, I think it’s cool to be able to go back and purchase tryout products for those that didn’t get the chance to try out.

By the way, the new badge is super cool looking!

For the Newsroom, I actually really like the design and how you guys have it set up. It flows well and the content is easy to find. My only comment might be that in the Community tab, you have some highlighted post from the community itself to show people all the great conversations that happen here!

Side note: I’m a freelance writer so if you guys need some extra writers, I’m happy to help!

For the store, it might be cool to have some of the best community reviews highlighted on the page. This would be great for buyers (who always want to know what other people, and not always reviewers think) and you could say they came from the tryout program to get more engagement with that as well. If nothing else, some reviews from respected sites around the internet would be good for people.

I joined the Heyup program to be a part of the community that is also interested in technology and love of it.
I haven’t had many experiences I just joined not long ago so haven’t been picked to test anything yet. But love being part of the community and seeing what others are getting to test and reading their reviews.
My pain point would be that there is so many great products out there picking just one is painful. But taking part in a test here would give me a chance to try out the products to help me see what options and such I can or can not live without.
I would love to see it grow and stay friendly like it is now. This would be seeing more products from a large variety of companies.
As other said we need translation button.

1 I joined heyup because I see the opportunity to try to do what I always wanted to do, trying new tech and write reviews of it

2 my favourite moment was when I realised that this is a genuine good growing community and that I can be part of it

1. I joined the community to try out amazing new fabulous products that I otherwise wouldn’t have been able to review without a platform like this.

2.So far my favorite moment would probably be the anticipation of getting chosen to review one of the products.

3.One pain point is that when I visit the website on my iPad Pro it sometimes gets a little glitchy and it’s a bit difficult to navigate versus on a MacBook Safari’s Web Surfing.

4. Perhaps a greater variety of products to test, from different companies, different devices.

5. Perhaps a more optimized iOS web surfing experience or optimize the webpage for better multiple device experience.

Haven’t gotten to test anything just yet fingers crossed 🤞 that I get the opportunity! But I would definitely have to say that the community is my favorite part, as well as reading others reviews on different products 😁

Tbh, I would just love to get the opportunity to be chosen for any of the testing opportunities

Why do you join the Heyup?
I love trying new tech, I think Heyup is a great platform that gives normal people the opportunity to try tech that they are interested in, but may not have the budget to purchase.
What was your favorite experience or moment in Heyup?
I remember when I was selected to try and review the switchbot bot, I was so surprised because I never get selected for things like this!

I was so happy that I told all my friends and coworkers about Heyup. I didn’t think that I would be selected again and I was once again so surprised when I got selected again for the nothing ear (1).
What’s your pain point? How do you wish Heyup to solve your problem?
I think Heyup has done everything quite well, however I do find that there are some issues with filling out the tryout page. When I try to apply, it will not let me fill it out sometimes, I think because an additional pop up has opened it the background. You have to close all the windows in the page in order to apply again. Just a little thing but gets in the way a bit.
What do you want to get/see from Heyup?
I would love to see a wide variety of tech products, just as how you guys have done so far already
Any suggestion for Heyup?

I checked out HeyUp through a mention on Twitter. I’ve been following many sites for years, but I guess I chanced upon them only after they were quire well established. But here I am seeing something that’s being built from the ground-up and that makes me excited to witness and hopefully be a part of a unique community. It’s also great that HeyUp is giving an open stage for those who have no experience at all to hone their reviewing skills.

I was checking my Instagram and a ad of Heyup come up! and I thought what a great idea! A tech community where we can share our opinions and reviews of cool tech and to be able to get products to review! I applied straight away!!!

I think the next thing to improve is to get a app that would be amazing! In my opinion of course! ☺️

There seems to be a lot of reviewers out there that are “fanboys” and always have great things to say. I mean, products can’t get everything 100%. By Heyup having a community of honest reviewers, I think it will help.
What do you want to get/see from Heyup?

Simple! Tech to review. I want to be able to use different devices and products and give my honest opinion about them.
Any suggestion for Heyup?

The forum UI and an app for it would be nice!

I didn’t want to make another topic just for this but when it comes to “5. Any suggestion for Heyup?”

I don’t know if it’s because of my phone but the page reloads pretty often if you leave the browser or switch to another tab. And you lose the message that you write. It becomes pretty frustrating if you want to copy a link or some text or you want to check some information while you post here. I constantly need to make sure that I copied the text that I was writing here before leaving the browser otherwise all will be lost. Maybe the page reloading is from my lack of RAM(4GB) but maybe something could be done that the text written in the text box would be saved independently of the webpage. Just a suggestion🙂

Hello Everyone,

I joined because I love testing new tech products and composing reviews. I’ve been doing this for over 14 years, and it has been amazing seeing all the new technology.
I’m new so, I have not had the experience yet, but I do look forward to it!
I haven’t had any issues just so excited to be a part of Heyup
I would like to see a community that supports, uplift, and respect each other thoughts and views. Keeping this site, a friendly community at all times! Of course, more brands are always a plus!
